Are there any recent projects that you are working on?
Yes there is actually. I知 working on a show called Clubhouse. It airs on CBS later this month. Tuesdays at 9pm. It is a really fun project for me.

How did you land the role of Sam in the Disney Channel movie Pixel Perfect? What was your audition like?
My audition was actually really funny. On my final audition, my agent had told me that they actually wanted to see me for a different character (Loretta). So I went into the audition with the sides for Loretta and dressed in this weirdo hologram looking outfit. Then I found out through the casting director that they wanted me to read with Loretta not read for Loretta. So I had two seconds to learn my new lines for Samantha before reading for the director. It was crazy, but I had a lot of fun with it. I was shocked when I booked it.

Did you have to learn an instrument for the role or did you already play one?
I actually had to learn how to play the guitar. This was such a challenge for me because I知 what I like to call 'musically challenged,' but I learned and now I still play the guitar and the bass.

What is your most memorable moment from the set of Pixel Perfect?
Dancing in the freezing cold rain in the middle of the night in a hospital gown.

What inspired you to go into acting?
Well, I was kind of picked out of a crowd , so I guess that痴 what got me thinking about acting.

What kind of research do you do before beginning a role?
I知 actually really bad. I only read my lines twice before going into an audition. I値l read the script if it is available. I spend more of my time thinking about the character and what she is like, what she enjoys, how she would dress or talk, etc.

Who do you look up to in the entertainment field?
Robin Wright Penn. I think she is so beautiful and talented. I also love Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Scarlett Johansson, and Julie Andrews.  My favorite director is Quentin Tarantino.
I read that you are active in some of the clubs at your school. Which clubs do you belong to and why is it important for you to be actively involved in school activities?
Right now I知 on the Academic Decathlon Team for my school, and I知 in the film program. It痴 SO important to be involved with your school because you get so much more out of it when you are. You have so many opportunities and they shouldn稚 go to waste.

You had a featured appearance on the show Angel in 2001. What was your experience like? Were you a fan of the show before appearing onit?
That was so much fun! I was a demon girl with an eye growing out of the back of my head. Oh, good times! Oh yes I love that Angel, he痴 a hottie.

What are some television shows that you are a fan of?
I love The Cosby Show. I could watch that show for three days straight and I would enjoy every episode. And of course Ricky痴 show, I知 an avid fan of Phil of the Future.

What's the last great movie you saw and what made it so great?
Benny and Joon, Johnny Depp.

I read that you enjoy writing poetry, who are some of your favorite poets?
That depends on what mood I知 in. I love Edgar Alan Poe when I知 in my teenage angst mood, Shakespeare when I知 in my teenage love-struck mood, Shel Silverstein when I知 in my five-year-old boy mood. But my favorite poet of all time is my best friend Rebecca. Her work will be famous someday.

What celebrities would you love to work with?
Johnny Depp (hot), Robin Wright Penn (my favorite actress), Robin Williams (my favorite actor), Julie Andrews (everyone says I知 a lot like her), or John Travolta (he seems like sucha nice guy).

What is your latest obsession, are you into any particular book, sport, or activity?
The Da Vinci Code. Oh my goodness that book is AMAZING.

If you weren't an actress, what would you like to be and why?
A writer. I love to write.
