The Beginning

The site all started when I first saw Pixel Perfect and saw the character Leah Pipes was acting out. Her excellent acting stole the whole film, so I started searching for more information online. There was hardly anything however, so it was quite hard to find out more. There were also no fan sites for her that I could find, and I wanted to make the first one. I applied for hosting at Sleeping Ocean and Claudia was really friendly and agreed to host me! The site's initial location became http://fan.sleeping-ocean.com/leahpipes/ and was originally named Eternal Beauty. I started collecting all the information I could find on Leah, and I put it all into this site.

The site launched soon after I got hosted. Shortly after I opened the site and I started to promote it, I got a message Leah Pipes herself, thanking me for setting up the site and telling me how flattered she was! It was definately Leah, and I knew that because she even gave me some extra information about her that I could use. I was even happier with the site after that, and I was really pleased that Leah took the time to thank me for the site!

 

New Location

After a while of being hosted by Claudia, and the host for the gallery went down (it was hosted somewhere else because Claudia didn't have much space) I decided I needed a new host with more space and much more to offer. I got accepted by the Natasha at Flirtatious and the location moved to http://leahpipes.flirtatious.org/ and the name changed to Leah Pipes Online. After the site moved, it started out completely fresh. I was a proud hostee of Natasha's for over 2 years without any problems!

 

Domain Name

In early 2009, the site was about to celebrate three years online, and I decided it was the right time to get a domain. I applied at The Fan Sites Network for hosting and asked for a domain, and my request for both got accepted quickly! I was extremely happy and too grateful for words, since a domain was a real step up for the site, and meant it would continue to grow. The site then finally moved to it's current location, http://leah-online.org/ and became Leah Marie Online and the site feels complete at last. When I told Leah about the news, she was really grateful and just as happy as I was.

This has become one of my best sites, and it's a real pleasure to update and run. With Leah's help and sometimes help from people who work with her, this site is even better to run! I love working on and updating this site almost as much as I love Leah Pipes!
